Delete contacts numbers from Facebook Phonebook
Here are the steps on how to delete / remove contacts or numbers from facebook phonbook:
- On the main menu for the Facebook Mobile application you will find, Mobile uploads, Phonebook, and Accounts. Click on Phonebook. or you can go to http://www.facebook.com/friends/?view=phonebook directly.
- look at the message on the very top “To learn more about Phonebook or to delete any contacts imported from your phone, click here.”
- a pop up message will come up that will say “Facebook Phonebook displays contacts you have imported from your phone, as well as your Facebook friends. If you would like to remove your mobile contacts from Facebook, you need to disable the feature on your mobile phone and visit this page.” Click on “This Page”
- you will be directed to a page with the following information:
When you import contacts into Facebook from your email, mobile, instant messaging service, or other social network, we may use this information to create friend suggestions for you and your friends. We also display these contacts in your Facebook Phonebook.
If you choose to remove your imported contacts, they will no longer appear in your Phonebook and friend suggestions may be less relevant to you and your friends.
To remove all imported contacts, please make sure to disable the Facebook synchronization feature on your phone first, if you have ever enabled it. Then, click the ‘Remove’ button below.
- then you will get this message : “ We are deleting all email and phone contacts you previously uploaded to Facebook. This may take a few minutes”

I understand the about but can’t figure out how to disable on my Iphone
