How to Remove or delete facebook application from your facebook
Ok, so you added all these applications to your facebook profile and now you are getting all kinds of emails and alerts that you don’t want, specially when they come directly to your email. For example, if you added the speed date application to your facebook you will get some alerts that will notify you of matches for you and other cool stuff, sounds nice right? wrong! specially when your wife or girlfriend see all the emails poping in. Anyways! How do you remove a facebook application if you don’t want to use it any more? easy,,, Here are the steps.
On the top bar of your facebook page click on Settings, a drop down will show. You need to pick Application Settings.
The next screen will show all your applications that you have installed on your facebook profile. To remove the application that you don’t want anymore click ‘X’ (notice that if you are getting alerts that you don’t want you can always click on Edit Settings and modify the configurations for the alerts, you don’t have to remove an app becuase of emails, you can stop those)
After you click the X button you will get a message that will ask you to confirm your deletion. Please note that If you remove an application, it will no longer have access to your data and will be removed from your profile, bookmarks and application page. to confirm the deletion click “Remove”
The last thing you will get is a screen confirming the removal of the application. click Okay and you are done.

i can not see new posting of other peoples stuff that they have done on farmville on my home page.. i have checked the apps and i have it marked to post all new to my wall but still not showing ..it used to work until about 4 days ago.

@mocco – After you delete a facebook application you have to reinstall it if you want it back.
@angel, after you remove the application it should go away. I am not sure why it is still there. Try to follow the steps above and remove the application one more time.

How do i cancel my facebook account completly. I don’t know most of the facebook friends and don’t want to be out there.

Facebook does not offer a simpler way to remove these applications. Under HOME you can see the list of applications you accessed but you can only hide unwanted apps by clicking the ‘X’.
To remove apps, you have to dig a little inside your account.
