Facebook Windows Vista Sidebar Gadget
To see the pictures that you and your friends post on Facebook, you login to your account on Facebook and view the pictures right? Not anymore! Now you can view your pictures that you post on Facebook by using the Facebook Windows Vista Sidebar gadget. With Microsoft now having a stake in Facebook now they gotta have a sidebar gadget for it. Here are the Step by Step instructions with screenshots on how to install and view the Facebook Vista Sidebar Gadget:
1) Download the Facebook Vista Gadget If you download it on you machine double click on it to install.
2) The following sidebar gadget will show on your windows vista side bar, Click on Get Codes link.
3) Login to your Facebook account
4) After you login you will see the following page, make sure “Allow Vista Sidebar Gadget to access my information” is checked, then Click on ”Get login code for Vista Sidebar Gadget”
5) Click Generate
6) The unique code for your account is generated, copy this code or write it down. (The code shown here is an example, Facebook will generate a unique code for each account)
7) Paste or type the generated code on the Facebook sidebar gadget
Wait for the Facebook gadget to load your infromation from you Facebook account.
9) Now you can start viewing your pictures on your sidebar gadget. Click on the wranch icon on the upper right corner of the gadget to configure the facebook windows vista sidebar gadget.
10) pick the photos slideshow options that you prefer. To upload photos just drag and drop the photos to the vista gadget and the upload will start automatically.
11) You can also skip the photos for fast view and share them with friend and family. click ont eh Share +

Is this the only facebook gadget? are there any others with functionalities other than the photos?

LIke others commenting on the Vista Gallery, I’m getting an error HTTP Send Call Failed. readyState=4 status=500

I will take a look at this issue and see whats going on. I have a feeling that its a propably issue on the facebook side not a problem in the facebook gadget itself, I will post any feedback I have on this soon.

i also get the HTTP Send Call Failed. readyState=4 status=500 error message…has any one got any way of fixing this ?
